Advanced material technologies and the success of the Afterburn, Burn and the Great White models have led to the primary performance characteristic of the Air.
We have utilised the understood strengths of a fibreglass skeleton, with Carbon, Kevlar and Basalt overlays to create a high specification composite stick with high performance levels and durability.
However we have carefully constructed the Air to also have a degree of ‘feel’ that some players find vital to successful performance. It’s not just about how hard you can hit it!
Resins:
Nano Carbon tubes are included in the resins of all the M-Tek sticks to help enhance stiffness and improve durability.
The texture of the resin – now seen on the faces of all M-Tek sticks - also allows water to be displaced, allowing more direct contact between ball and stick on wet surfaces, aiding control.
Tests conducted by UK national league players on water based surfaces, comparing standard finish sticks to the M-TEK range.
